Macro-friendly Fruit Loop Protein Ice Cream

Have you ever craved cereal and ice cream at the same time? The problem with that is that cereal is an AM kinda food and ice cream is a PM kinda food. Can you have your ice cream and eat it too?

I’m not entirely sure that made sense…

But you understand what I’m getting at! Let’s marry the two best carbs and make them macro-friendly. If you don’t think it can be done… check out this Macro-friendly Fruit Loop Protein Ice Cream Recipe.

With macros like 3g fat, 15g carbs, 24g protein, and just 185 calories for a serving the size of your head… I promise you won’t be dissapointed.

The Good Stuff:

Protein Ice Cream:

1 scoop Fruit Loop Flavored Protein Powder (there’s only one!)

260ml of vanilla unsweetened 30 calorie almond milk (or dairy of your preference)

2-3g xanthan gum (best place to buy: Xanthan Gum)
215g of ice

15g fruit loops

optional goodies to top:

15g fruit loops


  1. Combine ingredients into Nutribullet, beginning with the ice on the bottom.
  2. Blend up with smooth, and then some. It should be one consistent smooth texture – similar to soft serve ice cream or a little thicker.
  3. Pour out into a bowl and mix in all the goodies!

Macro-friendly Fruit Loop Protein Ice Cream.. high protein, low fat and full of flavor. Vegetarian dessert. Easy to make. Throw all the ingredients in a blender and pour out to enjoy a soft-serve fruit dessert!


Without topping  3g fat, 15g carbs, 24g protein. 185 calories.
